What is CDBS?

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a government program that covers part of the full cost of some dental services for eligible children.

Is My Child Eligible?

CDBS is available for chilldren between the ages of 0 - and 17 years old.  If you receieve a Government Benefit such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, your child may be eligible. You can easily check this by calling Falcon Dental Care.

What's Covered By CDBS?​​

The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services, including

• examinations

• x-rays

• cleaning

• fissure sealing

• fillings

• root canals and extractions

​

Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work, and cannot be paid for any services provided during a stay in hospital (including day surgery).
